Who operates this directory?
Alaska Web Company is operated by FOUR Media Group LLC (FOURAK). FOURAK is one of the two featured businesses. Martin Media is a professional partner; Kevin Bennett, founder of FOURAK, is also listed publicly as a web engineer on Martin Media's team.
This relationship is disclosed across the directory. The website is not a neutral third-party review platform.
Why only two listings?
The MVP begins with two founding partners whose capabilities and official public pages are known to the operator. It is not an exhaustive census of Alaska web agencies. Additional businesses may be considered later using published criteria, rather than creating arbitrary city lists or automated rankings.
How are profiles assessed?
- A real, identifiable business with a functioning official website and clear contact route.
- Specific published web-development or design capabilities.
- Evidence of original work and an understandable process.
- Honest information about services, pricing or scope where public.
- Commitment to practical performance, accessibility and client goals.
Are these the top-rated Alaska agencies?
No formal statewide ranking, independent performance testing, review aggregation or market-wide survey has been performed. The headline “Alaska's best websites start with the right builder” expresses an editorial principle about selecting a good fit; it is not a verified #1 award for either company.
Do companies pay to appear here?
The two founding listings are affiliated with the operator; no independent sponsored placement system or paid ranking is offered in this MVP. We don't publish invented review stars, fictitious customer endorsements, or scores that could imply third-party certification.
Where does the information come from?
Descriptions are editorial summaries of the companies' official public websites and verified operator knowledge. Visit each company's website to confirm current pricing, availability, service boundaries and project specifics.
